The tax in Kildare is 10% higher than the base rate, following a vote of Kildare County councillors.
The deadline for paying Local Property Tax has been extended until Wednesday.
Revenue has pushed back the deadline, which was originally set for this Sunday.

An additional 7,400 homes in Kildare, constructed since 2013, are now liable for the levy.
The tax in Kildare is 10% higher than the base rate, following a vote of Kildare County councillors.
The tax is based on the value of the property and owners must submit their own return via revenue.ie before 5pm on the 10th of November.
