Micheál Martin has been speaking after British Irish Council meeting
The Taoiseach has said he believes there's a genuine desire to solve the issues around the Northern Ireland protocol.
It comes after further meetings between the UK and EU negotiators in Brussels.
European Commission Vice President Maroc Sefcovic has said it's time for both sides to push on and get things over the line.
