The teenage girl's body was removed from the scene last night and a post-mortem will be carried out today.
A teenage girl is dead and another teen and three adults are in hospital following a road crash in Co. Tipperary.
Road closures are still in place near the village of Rearcross following the two car crash yesterday evening.
Gardai and emergency services were alerted just before 7 o'clock last night to the collision which happened on the R503 close to Rearcross.
A 15-year-old girl who was a passenger in one of the two vehicles involved, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another girl in her mid teens and a man and woman both aged in their 20's - all travelling in the same car - were injured.
They, along with a woman who was driving the other car, were all taken to University Hospital Limerick .
None of their conditions are life threatening.
