Two men have been arrested for ‘serious offences’ in relation to the death of William Moorehouse in Bray.
The 36-year-old father-of-six died following a suspected assault on Sunday evening.
William Moorehouse was found near a playground on Sunday, and was later pronounced dead at the scene.
It's thought he may have been stabbed, and gardai from the Technical Bureau recovered what are believed to be weapons following an extensive search in the playground, as well as two primary schools, church grounds and a community centre car park nearby.
That forensic examination has been completed and the corden of the large crime scene has been lifted.
Last evening Gardai arrested two men, aged in their 20s and 40s, in relation to his death and they’re both being held at a Garda Station in County Wicklow.
A post mortem examination is to be conducted by the State Pathologist Sally Anne Collis today - the results of which will determine the course of the Garda investigation.
Gardai continue to appeal for witnesses or anyone with any information to come forward.
