A number of people are injured following the crash
A woman has died and three children and two men were injured in a road traffic collision in Co. Limerick.
Gardaí and emergency services were called to the scene of the collision which involved two cars on the N21 south of Rathkeale at around 4.15 yesterday.
The driver of one of the car's, a woman in her 30's - was taken by ambulance to hospital but was later pronounced dead.
Her passengers, a man also aged in his 30's and two young children, and the driver of the other car, a man aged in his 20's, were also taken to hospital but their injuries aren't thought to be life threatening.
Gardaí are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Gardaí also want anyone travelling in the area at the time who may have dash-cam footage to make it available to them
