Wrong Way Driving On Motorways To Be Discussed By Ministers And State Agencies

It follows the crash on the M9 in Moone which saw five teenagers killed and four others injured earlier this month.

The Roads Minister will meet the RSA and TII today to discuss wrong way driving on motorways.

It comes following a series of incidents, including the crash on the M9 which saw five teenagers killed and four others injured earlier this month.

Gardaí and officials from the Departments of Transport and Justice will also be at today's talks.

As well as this, TDs return early to Leinster House today to debate changes to fuel supports.

Yesterday, Cabinet signed off on plans to extend cuts to excise duty on fuel, which will now be phased out between November and February, instead of a gradual reversal from the first of September.
