Lowry currently trails the leader by 3 strokes
Shane Lowry endured a tough 3rd round at the British Open in Troon yesterday.
The Offaly native started the day at 8 under par with a 2 shot lead however in the worst of the conditions he fell back to one under par and now trails the overnight leader Billy Horschel by 3 strokes.
He tees off at 1.45pm today.
Padraig Harrington will begin on three-over, with Tom McKibbin on nine-over.
