Chiedozie Ogbene has become the sixth Irish player to join the current Ipswich Town squad.

The Premier League club signed the 27-year-old on a four-year deal from Luton Town, for a fee in the region of 9.5 million euro.

Ogbene joins senior internationals Dara O'Shea and Sammie Szmodics at Portman Road.

Ahead of their EFL Cup trip to AFC Wimbledon tonight - Town boss Kieran McKenna denied that signing Irish players was intentional.
