Dublin's James McCarthy has retired from inter-county football.
The Ballymun Kickhams man won nine All-Ireland medals during a championship career that started in 2011.
McCarthy - who is 34 - also won five All-Star awards.
He says he was 'very fortunate to be involved in a golden period for Dublin GAA'.
