Meeting in Zurich comes amid controversy over World Cup stake sale plans and calls for FIFA president to resign.
FIFA council members will meet today in Zurich, for the first time since President Gianni Infantino revealed his plans to sell stakes in the World Cup.
The head of global football has faced calls to resign in recent months, with a number of associations - including the FAI - have withdrawn their support for his re-election bid next March.
In a letter to Council members last month, Infantino stressed he was open to reform within FIFA, and called for an external review to "recommend potential improvements".
