Big Weekend for Kildare and Naas Footballers; O'Connell Rules Out Munster Job

 

It's a significant weekend for Kildare & Naas footballers.

Tomorrow at 1pm in St. Conleth's Park, Newbridge, Glenn Ryan's Kildare begin their O'Byrne cup campaign against Westmeath.

Glenn Ryan’s backroom team comprises former stars Johnny Doyle, Anthony Rainbow, Dermot Earley and Brian Lacey.

That game is followed at 5pm by Naas' Leinster Club Football Final against Kilmacud Crokes, in Croke Park.

KFM will have live commentary of both games, Kildare's game with Westmeath is in association Hanlon Concrete, Robertstown.

With the Naas Kilmacud Crokes game in association with Auxilia Management Consultants, Millennium Park, Naas.

Kfm will preview the game including manager interviews with Glenn Ryan and Eoin Doyle this evening at 6.30pm.

Paul O'Connell has ruled himself of of the Munster job.

The Ireland forwards coach told the '2 Johnnies Podcast' that he wouldn't be qualified to replace Johann van Graan.

The South African will leave Munster at the end of the season.
