Ireland's Nations League Match Against Israel Moved From Dublin

The ROI UEFA Nations League fixture against Israel in October will be played at a neutral venue behind closed doors.

The Football Association of Ireland confirmed that UEFA has approved a request to move the match away from the Aviva Stadium due to operational concerns surrounding the fixture.

The game is scheduled for October 4th, with the neutral venue yet to be announced.

The FAI says it remains committed to its previous call for Israel's suspension from UEFA competitions, while also acknowledging its obligation to fulfill the fixture under UEFA regulations.

Ireland manager Heimir Hallgrímsson has previously stated that decisions on the fixture should not rest with the players, coaching staff, or the FAI alone.
