The victory was McParland's third point-to-point success and contributed to a double on the day for Wexford trainer Colin Bowe.
Crookstown jockey Ronan McParland enjoyed another success on Sunday riding Surf The Wave to victory at Tattersalls in County Meath.
The Kildare rider guided the five-year-old horse to a length-and-a-half win in the maiden race for previously unplaced horses aged five and over.
The victory was McParland's third point-to-point success and contributed to a double on the day for Wexford trainer Colin Bowe.
It continues a promising spell for the 20-year-old, who recently celebrated his first racecourse victory under rules at Punchestown.
Bowe also returned to the top of the National Point-to-Point Handlers Championship standings following Sunday's results.
