Naas have secured an eighth consecutive Kildare Senior Hurling Championship title.
The defending champions beat Maynooth by 3-13 to 11 points in yesterday’s UPMC Senior Hurling Final at Cedral St Conleth’s Park.
Maynooth led by two points at half-time, but a goal from Cathal Dowling put Naas ahead in the second half.
Further goals from Brian Byrne and substitute Fionn Maher in the closing stages secured an 11-point victory.
The result takes Naas to 14 senior county titles, moving them into second place on Kildare’s all-time honours list, behind Clane.
Milltown ended a 54-year wait for the Kildare Intermediate Football title this weekend.
They beat Suncroft by 2-10 to 1-12 in Saturday evening’s final replay.

Elsewhere, Clane won the Minor Hurling A final, beating Naas by 2-13 to 2-12.
And Saturday’s Intermediate Hurling Final between Leixlip and Naas, along with the Minor Hurling B final between Coill Dubh and Sarsfields, were both postponed because of the weather.
