The Kildare Senior footballers have been promoted to Division 2, following a win over Antrim this afternoon.
The full time score in Cedral St Conleth’s Park was Kildare 1-26 Antrim 1-15.
Kildare were trailing 0-14 to 0-9 at half time but Brian Flanagan’s side turned it around in the second half to claim the win.
Kildare will play Offaly in the league final next weekend.
It marks a superb weekend for Kildare GAA as the hurlers were promoted to Division 1B with a victory over Meath yesterday.
