Kildare Trio Included For Republic of Ireland Friendlies

John O'Shea side play Belgium and Switzerland at the end of the month

There could be three Republic of Ireland debutants in this month's friendlies - including the top scorer in the English Championship.

Blackburn Rovers striker Sammie Szmodics is joined in interim manager John O'Shea's squad by Middlesbrough's Finn Azaz and Jake O'Brien of Lyon.

Captain Seamus Coleman is back from injury and there are recalls for Robbie Brady and Callum O'Dowda but John Egan, Shane Duffy and Jayson Molumby are out injured.

Kildare trio Mark Travers, Andrew Omobamidele and Nathan Collins have all been included.

Ireland will play Switzerland and Belgium who have ruled out midfielder Kevin de Bruyne for the trip to Dublin.
