Kildare Trio Included In Republic of Ireland Squad For Upcoming Qualifiers

Ireland play Greece and Gibraltar respectively

Celtic pair Liam Scales and Mikey Johnston are back in the Ireland squad for this month's Euro qualifiers against Greece and Gibraltar.

Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher misses out through injury, according to the FAI so Max O'Leary comes into Stephen Kenny's squad along with his Bristol City team-mate Mark Sykes.

James McClean hasn't been called up after announcing his final game will be the friendly against New Zealand next month.

The 34-year-old won his 100th cap against Gibraltar in June and featured at the Euros in 2012 and 2016

Kildare's Nathan Collins, Mark Travers and Andrew Omobamidele have all been included.

The Boys in Green take on Greece in Dublin tomorrow week, before travelling to play Gibraltar three days later.
