Sean O'Brien and Ciarán Frawley also scored for the visitors, but Benetton held a narrow lead for much of the second half.
Suncroft's Cian Prendergast was among the try scorers as Connacht claimed their first URC win of the season with a dramatic 22-19 victory over Benetton in Treviso.
Prendergast got Connacht off to a flying start, crossing after just five minutes as Stuart Lancaster's side looked to respond to last weekend's defeat to the Stormers.
Sean O'Brien and Ciarán Frawley also scored for the visitors, but Benetton held a narrow lead for much of the second half.
Frawley eventually delivered the decisive moment, crossing again in the 77th minute to seal a late bonus-point win for Connacht.
