Kildare won 1-16 to 1-15

Kildare will play Monaghan in preliminary quarter-finals in the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship.

Yesterday, Glenn Ryan's side defeated Roscommon 1-16 to 1-15.

Kildare GAA has nominated O'Connor Park in Tullamore to be Kildare's dedicated home venue for the game. 

Athy's Kevin Feely scored a fantastic last minute mark from out near the sideline, with virtually the last kick of the match, to give the Lilywhites a crucial victory.
