On Saturday, Kildare U20 footballers beat Kerry in the John Kerins Cup by 2-18 to 0-15

On Friday,  Naas CBS became Leinster Post Primary A Champions for the 4th time in 5 years

The beat Moate Community School in O’Moore Park by 0-11 to 0-9

 

Glenn Ryan’s side are in Ennis next Sunday to play Clare in Division 2.

Diane O Hora’s women footballers will be home to Louth next Sunday: they are unbeaten in Division 3 so far.

Seamus Coleman is set to make his 400th Everton appearance tonight.

The Republic of Ireland defender is poised to feature for the Toffees in the Merseyside derby against Liverpool.

Kick off  is at 8pm.

France prop Uini Atonio has been cited for his tackle on Rob Herring in last Saturday's Six Nations loss to Ireland.

The La Rochelle forward was yellow carded by referee Wayne Barnes following a review of the challenge with the Television Match Official.

Atonio faces a disciplinary hearing on Wednesday.

In the women’s Superleague, Leixlip’s Liffey Celtics had a great result on Saturday night.

They beat 2nd place Trinity Meteors away by 98 to 88 and move up to 6th

Next up, they’re at home to Singleton Supervalu in Leixlip Amenities Centre on Saturday at 7pm

Singleton Supervalue are one place below Celtics on the table on score difference.
