Munster Confirm RG Snyman Has Re-Ruptured His ACL.

There's also bad news on the injury front for Leinster.

Munster have confirmed that RG Snyman has re-ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament.

The Springbok second row sustained the injury during yesterday’s 43-points to 13 win over the Scarlets.

Snyman had only returned from the same injury against the Sharks a fortnight ago after 13-months on the sidelines.

There’s also bad news on the injury front from Leinster today.

Harry Byrne and Rory O’Loughlin require further assessment on respective hip and shoulder problems.

Byrne was withdrawn during the first half of Saturday’s win over Zebre.

But Caelan Doris will step up his recovery from a calf injury
