GAELIC GAMES

Naas advanced to the final of the AIB All-Ireland Intermediate Hurling Championship, after a semi-final win over Toureen of Mayo yesterday afternoon.

Here's Naas Manager Tom Mullally:

Also in action yesterday were the Kildare hurlers, as they played their second game in this year's Kehoe Cup campaign.

They lost out to Westmeath in Raharney on a scoreline of 6-21 to 0-20.

Kildare Manager David Herity spoke to KFM after the game:

On Saturday, Naas CBS were 3-13 to 1-10 winners over Marist College Athlone, in the Leinster Post-Primary Schools Senior A Quarter Final replay

They will now play Tullamore's Colaiste Choilm in the semi-final, the only non-Kildare team left in the competition.

That finished up in St Conleth's Park 3-10 to 2-12.

On Saturday, the Celbridge camogie side were beaten by St. Rynagh's of Offaly in the Leinster Intermediate Championship Quarter Final, 9-12 to 0-4.

Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira felt the decision to award Liverpool an 89th minute penalty in their 3-1 defeat in the Premier League was wrong.

The referee initially didn't give the spot kick after Diogo Jota was brought down but that was overturned after a VAR review.

Elsewhere, Chelsea beat Tottenham 2-0, while Arsenal and Burnley finished goalless.

Leicester and Brighton played out a 1-1 draw.
