Ireland face the All Blacks at the Rugby World Cup

The 2023 UPMC Senior B Hurling Championship title is up for grabs today.

Naas and Leixlip contest the final at Manguard Park at 3.30.

For Naas, it is a chance to bounce back from 2022 final defeat to Éire Óg Corra Choill.

Leixlip, who were relegated from the senior hurling championship for the first time last year, have already secured a return to the top flight, but will be eager to cap their promotion with silverware.

There are also two Future Ticketing Minor Hurling Championship Finals down for decision today.

Broadford and St. Laurence's contest the  C final at 12.00

That will be followed by the  B decider between Cú Chuliann's and Éire Óg Corra Choill

Raheens were crowned Osprey Hotel & Spa Reserve A Football Champions last night.

They beat Raheens by 2-06 to 0-08.

Maynooth had a 0-14 to 1-07 win over Kilcock in the Reserve B Football final.

 

RUGBY

Ireland will look break their World Cup quarter-final curse tonight.

They can reach the semi finals for the first time with a victory over New Zealand at the Stade de France

Kick-off is at 8.00

Today’s other quarter-final is in Marseille, sees Wales play Argentina at 4.00.

Naas are at home to Queens in Division 1B of the AIL this afternoon.

MU Barnhall host Nenagh Ormond in Division 2A.

Both games kick off at 2.30.

The defeat ended thier slim hopes of qualification for Euro 2024.
