Scotland earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Haiti in their opening Group C clash.
John McGinn's first-half strike proved the difference in Foxborough as the Scots secured their first win at a World Cup finals since 1990.
Steve Clarke's side were made to work for all three points, with Haiti pushing for an equaliser late on, but Scotland held first to begin their campaign on a positive note.
The result leaves Scotland top of Group C after Brazil and Morocco played out a draw earlier in the day.
Clarke's men now face Morocco in their next outing before a final group game against Brazil.
The victory is a significant step forward for Scotland, who are appearing at their first World Cup since 1998 and now have a strong opportunity to challenge for a place in the last 16.
