Meanwhile on the LPGA tour, Leona Maguire was in action this morning

On the PGA Tour, the Irish contingent of Seamus Power and Shane Lowry are part of the field for the Cognizant Classic at Palm Beach.

Waterford's Power tees off his opening round just before half 5 Irish Time, while Offaly-man Lowry is due out on course at 20 to 6.

On the LPGA tour, Leona Maguire was in action this morning.

The Cavan native carded an opening round of 75 to finish on 3-over-par at the HSBC Women's World Championship in Singapore.

The lead is held by Kim A Lim of South Korea on 4-under-par.
