Sunday Morning Sport Update: Naas Crowned All Ireland Champions.

Kildare hurlers and footballers in action this afternoon.

GAA

Naas became the first Kildare club to win an All-Ireland hurling title yesterday, defeating Kilmoyley of Kerry in Croke Park.

The full time score was Naas 16 points Kilmoyley 1-11, with Naas having to withstand some late pressure in awful conditions.

This afternoon's Sunday Sportsbeat programme will have reaction from manager Tom Mullally and team captain Brian Byrne.

Naas CBS have won the Leinster Post Primary Schools Bro. Bosco Cup Football "A" Final.

They beat fellow Kildare team Maynooth SLS by 14 points to 2-07 at St Conleth's Park yesterday, to claim the school's third title in four competitions.

Both the Kildare hurlers and footballers are in Allianz National League action this afternoon.

The hurlers host Meath in St Conleth's Park at 12 o'clock and Kfm will have live updates with Seamus Dillon.

At 2.30pm, Glenn Ryan's football side will be hoping to build on last week's draw against Kerry, as they travel to Ballybofey to play Donegal.

The team has been named and it sees Aaron O'Neill replace Mark Donnellan in goals, while Kevin Feely starts in the middle of the field.

Kfm will have full commentary of the match, in association with Hanlon Concrete Robertstown.

SOCCER

The FA Cup third round continues this afternoon.

At 12, Liverpool play Cardiff, at 4, Nottingham Forest play Leicester and then at 6.30, it's Bournemouth versus Boreham Wood.

The final of the Africa Cup of Nations takes place tonight in Cameroon.

Liverpool team-mates Mo Salah and Sadio Mané go head to head, as Egpyt play Senegal.

Kick-off is at 7pm.

GOLF

Leona Maguire is an LPGA Tour winner for the first time.

The Cavan lady fired a five under par 67 to win the Drive On Championship in Florida.

Maguire finished on a score of 18-under-par, three shots clear of Lexi Thompson.

HORSE RACING

Day 2 of the Dublin Racing Festival takes place at Leopardstown today.

The Irish Champion Hurdle is the feature on the card at 3pm.

Rachael Blackmore climbs aboard the unbeaten superstar mare Honeysuckle for trainer Henry de Bromhead and will be long odds-on to see off her four challengers.
