Kildare kept their hopes of reaching the Glen Dimplex Premier Junior Camogie semi-finals alive with a commanding 6-21 to 1-5 win over Wicklow in Newbridge yesterday.
The Lilywhites travel to Tyrone next weekend for their Round 5 clash.
Also in Round 4, Cavan 1-11 Tyrone 1-9, and Armagh 2-17 Roscommon 1-7.
In the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, Mayo and Kerry became the first two semi-finalists yesterday.
Mayo 23 points Cork 18 points. Kerry 2-25 Tyrone 27 points.
There are two more football quarter-finals at Croke Park today, with Louth playing Monaghan at 1.45, before Dublin play Galway at 4.
In hurling, Limerick are All-Ireland Minor Hurling Champions after defeating Tipperary by 2-12 to 1-14.
And in the Camogie Senior Championship, Cork play Waterford, and Galway play Tipperary, with both games throwing in at half-past three.
Soccer
In the World Cup, the group stages have finished.
England finished top of Group L after a 2-nil win over Panama.
Croatia also reached the knockout stages with a 2-1 victory over Ghana.
Today’s final group matches saw Argentina finish top of Group J after a 3-1 win over Jordan, while Algeria and Austria shared a six-goal thriller, drawing 3-all.
Portugal and Colombia played out a scoreless draw, while DR Congo beat Uzbekistan 3-1.
The knockout stages begin this evening, with South Africa playing Canada from 8.
Tomorrow, Brazil play Japan at 6, Germany play Paraguay from 9.30, and Netherlands play Morocco on Tuesday morning at 2am.
Rugby
In Rugby, Wales warmed up for the rugby union Nations Championship with a 33-31 victory against Barbarians in Twickenham.
Dan Edwards got two of the five tries.
Golf
In golf, Shane Lowry had an impressive round of 64 in Round 3 of the Travellers Championship.
Lowry moved into a share of fifth on 13-under-par, seven shots off the lead.
At the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship in Minnesota, Leona Maguire is tied for 49th on one-over-par after three rounds, while Kildare’s Lauren Walsh missed the cut.
Racing
