It's been busy weekend for Kildare GAA and LGFA teams.
 
The men's senior footballers concluded their Division 2 league campaign with a loss against Louth last night.
 
With relegation confirmed, the Lilies suffered a seventh straigh defeat with a full time score at Netwatch Cullen Park of Louth 1-12 Kildare 0-12.

Elsewhere in Division 2, Louth's victory confirmed relegation for Fermanagh despite their 2-14 to 1-13 win over Cavan.
 
Armagh and Donegal have been promoted to Division 1 with Kieran McGeeney's men drawing 2-16 a piece with Cork while Donegal beat Meath by 1-18 to 1-10.

Hurling

Kilkenny are the first team into this season's Allianz National Hurling League final.

The Cats got the better of All Ireland champions Limerick by 3-17 to 1-15 at Pairc Ui Chaoimh

Tipperary and Clare will battle it out to see who will join Kilkenny in the decider.

They face off in the second semi final at O'Moore Park in Portlaoise at 4pm.

The Kildare minor hurlers had an impressive victory over Laois in their Leinster Minor Hurling Championship Round Robin tie.
 
Full time score at Managuard Park was Kildare 4-11 Laois 0-15.

Ulster started life under interim head coach Richie Murphy with a URC loss yesterday.

They couldn't find a way past the Sharks who beat the visitors 22-12.

Connacht were also on the losing side as they went down 38-14 to the Lions at the Sportsground.

Leinster picked up a big win away in Italy.

They were no match for Zebre coming away with a 31-7 victory.

In Division 1B, Naas suffered a 39-20 defeat to Old Wesley.
 
In Division 2A, Banbridge beat MU Barnhall by 28-27.

Pyrobel Killester are the MissQuote.ie Super League champions.

They defeated Leixlip's FloMAX Liffey Celtics 90-62 in the Playoff Final at the National Basketball Arena last night, to claim their first women’s Super League title since the 1979/80 season

The sides were forced into a one-off playoff, after both finished with equal 17-3 records at the end of the regular season.
