Manchester City are back on top of the Premier League table this morning.

Goals by Kevin de Bruyne, Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland gave the champions a 3-1 win at Arsenal.

City boss Pep Guardiola feels the win was important to hand his players momentum in the title race.


Chelsea suffered a 1-nil defeat to Borussia Dortmund in their Champions League last 16 first leg game in Germany.

Karim Adeyemi scored the winner in the second half.


Benfica won 2-0 at Club Brugge.

Manchester United are in Europa League action this evening.

The Red Devils play Barcelona in the first leg of their knockout round tie in Spain from 5.45.


Elsewhere, Republic of Ireland internationals Troy Parrott and Jayson Molumby were on the scoresheet in the Championship last night.

Parrott scored from the penalty spot for Preston in their 1-1 draw with Luton Town.

Molumby was on the mark for West Bromwich Albion, who also drew 1-1 with Blackburn Rovers.


GAELIC GAMES

UCC are Sigerson Cup champions.

They beat UL by 1-16 to 16 points after extra time at WIT last night.

In the semi finals of hurling's Fitzgibbon Cup this evening, UCC play University of Galway and it's SETU Waterford up against UL.

Tiger Woods returns to competitive golf at the Genesis Invitational on the PGA Tour in Los Angeles today.

Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry and Seamus Power are also in the field.
