Glen of Derry will object to the circumstances at the end of the All Ireland Club Football Final, which saw Dublin's Kilmacud Crokes with 16 players on the pitch for the last play.

The GAA's Central Competitions Control Committee will meet to discuss the options available to them, which include replaying the game.

SOCCER

Irish goalkeeper Darren Randolph is joining Bournemouth on a permanent deal from West Ham United.

He has committed to the Cherries until the end of the season.

35 year old Randolph has not played in the West Ham first team since 2021.

 

It's a repeat of the 1992 final tonight, as Nottingham Forest host Manchester United in the English League Cup semi final.

The first leg kicks off at the City Ground at 8pm.

Casemiro is available again for United.


Celtic have completed the signing of South Korea international Oh Hyeon-gyu  on a five-year deal, subject to international clearance.

The 21-year-old forward joins from K League 1 club, Suwon Samsung Bluewings.

Novak Djokovic is into the semi finals of the men's singles at the Australian Open.

The nine time champion defeated Andrey Rubley) in straight sets in Melbourne, 6-1, 6-2, 6-4.

Djokovic will now play American Tommy Paul in the last four.
