Alongside Northern Irish, English, Welsh & Scottish Football Associations
The Football Association of Ireland has formally applied to co-host Euro 2028.
The FAI plans to stage the tournament alongside Northern Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales.
The associations have made an application to UEFA and a decision is expected next month.
The Irish government is supporting the bid - saying it understands the opportunity it represents.
