2 Motorists In Kildare Arrested For Drug Driving In Separate Operations.

The drivers tested positive for cannabis and cocaine.

Two motorists in Kildare have been arrested on suspicion of drug driving.

The detentions were effected in separate operations.

In the first, Naas Roads Policing Unit stopped a driver after they were found driving erratically in the Naas area.

They proceeded to test positive for cannabis.

While Naas RPU stopped two vehicles during checkpoints in Newbridge.

One had no tax or insurance & the driver tested positive for cocaine.

The other was an unaccompanied learner with no tax.

Fines and penalty points were issued to both drivers and proceedings to follow.
