Last year, ALONE supported almost 46,500 older people nationwide, with nearly half reporting feelings of loneliness.
Its CEO says just one hour of volunteering a week can make a life-changing difference, helping older people stay connected and age well at home.
Volunteering is flexible, involves regular calls or visits, and surveys show it reduces loneliness while benefiting volunteers and communities.
