The tent has been erected, along with multiple caravans, amid ongoing issues with illegal encampments.
It comes as the issues of illegal encampments have been raised in the Seanad, as well as concerns over cleanup costs, and issues like intimidation having an effect on visitors to the Curragh.
Speaking on Kildare Today, Fianna Fáil Senator for Kildare South Fiona O' Loughlin said that she "could not believe it".
"My understanding is that a lot of those [caravans] have actually gone, they arrived in just before the weekend."
Senator O' Loughlin acknowledged people's frustration, but said that "pretty much" all of the new measures have been agreed to advance the Curragh plains, including a stronger manager system and body, as well as more rangers with enforcement powers, but still "needs to be put in place".
"I'm not coming with any necessarily good news today, but it's just to spell it out where it's at, and we'll keep pressuring to ensure we get the new management system in place."
