Roadworks are being carried out on the R414 Mountrice to Tullylost.
Road resurfacing works will be carried out on the R414 Mountrice to Tullylost, between Rathangan and Monasterevin today.
A road closure will be in place for the duration of the day.
Diversion routes will be in place and will be clearly signposted.
Kildare County Council has shared the following alternative routes:
Southbound Traffic at the junction of the R414/L7008 (Tullylost Crossroads) travel on the L7008 & L7011 to the junction of L7011/L7012 (Crossmorris Crossroads). At the junction turn right onto the L7012 and travel westbound to the junction of R414/L7012 (Ballykelly Crossroads), where the diversion ends.
Northbound Traffic at the junction of R414/L7012 (Ballykelly Crossroads) re-route along the L7012 in an eastbound direction to the junction of L7012 & L7011 (Crossmorris Crossroads). At the Junction turn left onto the L7011 and travel northbound continuing on the L7008 to finish at the junction of L7008/R414 (Tullylost Crossroads), where the diversion ends.
