The two-car collision happened on the R148 in Enfield yesterday afternoon shortly after 2 o'clock.
Th driver of one of the cars was pronounced dead, while the second driver was taken to Blanchardstown Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
It's the fourth road death in the last 24 hours, following crashes in Donegal and Dublin.
