Gardai To Crack Down On Speeding, Drugs And Drink Driving Over Bank Holiday Weekend

In the past week, the Naas Roads Policing unit detected cars travelling at speeds of 111km and 117km in an 80km zone on the Sallins bypass.

A Garda crack down on speeding, drugs and drink driving is underway for the bank holiday.

Over 800 motorists were detected driving under the influence of drugs since the beginning of the year.

In Rathgorragh, Gardai detected a vehicle travelling at a speed of 98km in a 60km zone.
