Her cat has been missing since the end of January.
A Newbridge resident was left furious and heartbroken after a prank call from a group of boys took a cruel turn.
The pranksters called her claiming they had found Bubbles, her beloved pet cat, "injured with his leg hanging off".
Local woman Kamila rushed to an arcade in Newbridge.
Instead of finding her cat, she was met by a group of boys laughing at her.
They handed her a box containing a squeaky toy.
The prank left Kamila heartbroken.
"Your cruelty knows no bounds," she said.
Her cat has been missing since the end of January.
A spokesperson for the arcade where the prank took place said they "do not condone" the behaviour.
