The national Residential Property Price Index increased by just over 10 per cent in the 12 months to August 2024.
Kildare, Louth, Meath and Wicklow houses saw a price increase of 8%.
The cost of Dublin homes rose by 10.8%, with prices outside Dublin up by 9.6%.

In Dublin the highest house price growth was in Fingal at 12.4%, while outside Dublin, the biggest increase was in the border counties of Cavan, Donegal, Leitrim, Monaghan, and Sligo, which were up 15%.
