Micheál Martin is expected to be comfortably elected as Taoiseach for the second time before he unveils his Cabinet this afternoon.

Fianna Fail’s Jim O’Callaghan and Fine Gael’s Jennifer Caroll MacNeill are expected to get the call up.

Kildare South TD Martin Heydon looks tipped to become Agriculture Minister .

Kildare North TD James Lawless could also be in the running for a senior ministerial role.
