The exhibition will take place in Naas Library from June 15th until June 27th
Local artist Anne Deere is looking ahead to her exhibition taking place in Naas later this month.
The exhibition will take place in Naas Library from June 15th until June 27th.
Speaking on Kildare Today, she explained the thought process behind her paintings:
"I like to be in the place that I'm going to paint, because that's what art is all about, to move you in some way."
Her new exhibition is called 'Tranquility' and hopes that "people will get their own space from the paintings".
Ms Deere, who is a self-taught artist, added that a long-running art group she is a part of, as well as attending various exhibitions and travelling around Ireland has inspired her work.
Her abilities aren't just limited to art, as she also can play the ukulele, and loves visiting Bere Island to do so.
