"Picnic in the Park" will return in June.
The event, funded through Local Property Tax, will take place on Sunday, June 16th, from 2pm to 5pm at Harbour Field, Maynooth.
With a focus on climate change and sustainability, it will feature performers, workshops, information stalls, and food vendors.
Information stalls will offer advice on energy usage, composting, active travel, biodiversity, and local initiatives.
The event will host the "Circus of Climate Horrors," an interactive experience by researchers from the ICARUS Institute at Maynooth University, aimed at educating in an entertaining way.
