Locals Encouraged To Exchange And Save As New Toy Library Is Launched

The Toy Library allows users to exchange second had toys free of charge, to save on costs and cut the environmental impact.

Locals are being encouraged to use a newly launched digital toy exchange created to reduce plastic waste created by discarding toys.

80 percent of all toys end up in landfills, with 5.5 million plastic toys lost and discarded here each year.

Families can log on to thetoylibrary.ie to advertise and organise exchanges of toys in communities across the country.
