Update: Man Hospitalised After Single Vehicle Crash On M9 Northbound This Morning

The incident happened at around 7.25 am this morning.

Motorists have been advised to expect significant delays due to a single vehicle collision on the J2 Kilcullen and J1 M7/M9 (near Kilcullen).

There's a 2km tailback in Kilcullen just at the traffic lights, as drivers attempt to avoid the route.

Gardaí and emergency services are at the scene.

kfm understands that a man driving a van was taken to hospital for treatment of "non-life threatening" injuries.

The incident happened at around 7.25 am this morning.

The road is now closed and local diversions are in place.
