A man has been arrested in connection with a serious assault in Naas.
A man, in his early 20s, sustained facial injuries after he was assaulted by a lone male near the Arconagh Housing Estate, on Newbridge Street in Naas, shortly before 12pm yesterday afternoon.
Gardaí have arrested and charged a man in his 20s.
He's due to appear before a sitting of Naas District Court this morning.
Officers are continuing to investigate the assault, and are asking anyone with information to contact Gardaí.
