Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow rain and wind warning for parts of the country this weekend.
The rain warning will come into effect from 9am on Sunday morning for Carlow, Kilkenny, Wicklow, Cork, Waterford and Wexford.
With the yellow wind warning coming into effect from 3pm tomorrow for counties Waterford, Wexford and Wicklow.
Meteorologist with Met Eireann, Linda Hughes, says Kildare could also be affected by poor conditions and travel delays.
