Naas RPU Cracks Down On Speeding Learner Driver With No L-Plates In Foggy Weather

Naas RPU discovered a car travelling at 151kph in a 120kph zone during foggy weather conditions.

While conducting speed checks on the M9, Naas RPU discovered a car travelling at 151kph in a 120kph zone during foggy weather conditions.

Upon inspection, it was revealed that the driver was an unaccompanied learner who had failed to display L-Plates.

The vehicle was confiscated, and the driver received a fine.

Meanwhile, while conducting an intoxicant checkpoint in Kill Village, Naas Garda stopped a motorist who was found to have a blood alcohol concentration twice the legal limit.

The individual was subsequently arrested and legal proceedings will ensue.
