Upon inspection, it was revealed that the driver was an unaccompanied learner who had failed to display L-Plates.
The vehicle was confiscated, and the driver received a fine.
Meanwhile, while conducting an intoxicant checkpoint in Kill Village, Naas Garda stopped a motorist who was found to have a blood alcohol concentration twice the legal limit.
The individual was subsequently arrested and legal proceedings will ensue.
