The council has again dismissed speculation that the pumping station site is being converted into a new halting site, saying no alternative use is planned.
Legal proceedings to enforce a vacate order at the Sallins/Osberstown Aqueduct compound will resume in October, when the courts return from their summer recess.
A court order was served on August 7th directing mobile home and caravan occupants to leave within 48 hours.
But further action - an application for attachment and committal - has been delayed by the court break.

Officials say they will secure the compound once the Housing Department confirms the encampment has moved.
The matter was raised by Independent Cllr Seamie Moore at this week’s Naas Municipal District meeting.
