One of the highlights is that €180,000 has been awarded for the Wonderful Barn in Leixlip
Over €400,000 has been awarded to repair and protect three historic structures in Kildare.
The announcement was made today by Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, James Browne TD, and Minister of State for Nature, Heritage and Biodiversity, Christopher O’Sullivan TD.
The breakdown of the allocated funding for each project in the county is as follows:

Overall, €4.42 million will be awarded to 40 projects for the repair and protection of landmark buildings.
Alongside other heritage funding streams such as the Built Heritage Investment Scheme and the recently re-opened Conservation Advice Grant Scheme, the Historic Structures Fund aims to conserve, protect, and promote the use of historic buildings across cities, towns, villages, and countryside.
