The lay-offs will begin at the end of this year, and will continue into 2025
Pharmaceutical company Pfizer is to cut more jobs in its Irish manufacturing locations, as part of a global cost-cutting programme.
It is understood that up to 210 jobs will go across Newbridge, Grange Castle in Dublin and Ringaskiddy in Cork.
The lay-offs will begin at the end of this year, and will continue into 2025.
They will be a mixture of voluntary and targeted redundancies.
They are part of a $1.5 billion cost-cutting programme announced by Pfizer in May.
This followed on from a larger, $3.5 billion cuts programme which saw 100 jobs go at its Newbridge facility last year.
Pfizer employs around 5,000 people in Ireland across five locations.
No details of the redundancy package have been announced.
